About
About Worldschooling Directory
A world to explore, a lifetime to learn.
Learning happens wherever curiosity takes us: a neighborhood market, a museum, a hiking trail, a conversation in another language, or a gathering of families far from home.
Worldschooling Directory helps homeschooling and worldschooling families find events, communities, places and resources around the world. Whether you travel full time, spend a season abroad, or explore close to home, we want to make it easier to find opportunities to learn and connect.
Meet Cat
I’m Catherine, but most people call me Cat. I’m a homeschool mom, international event producer and community organizer. Travel, culture and bringing people together are a big part of my family’s life and my professional work.
I created Worldschooling Directory to share the kinds of connections and discoveries I’m always looking for myself. Those include welcoming communities, interesting places, learning opportunities and ways for our children to meet people along the way.
This project grows alongside Homeschool Texas (opens in a new tab) and Mexico Homeschool. Each local guide focuses on its own area, while Worldschooling Directory brings those discoveries together with resources from elsewhere around the world.
